
Richa Bhatia, M.D., is a dual board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. Having served as a faculty member in the departments of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth as well as a psychiatrist in the community, she has extensive clinical and teaching experience. She is the author of 2 books: ‘Demystifying Psychiatric Conditions and Treatments’ and ’65 Answers about Psychiatric Conditions’ . She serves as an Associate Editor for Current Psychiatry, Section Editor of Current Opinion in Psychiatry and is on the editorial boards of several other journals. She is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and the recipient of the Marian Butterfield award from the Association of Women Psychiatrists. She has spoken at schools, hospitals, and universities on topics including ADHD, bullying, and compassion cultivation, to reduce stigma and promote positive mental health and prevention.
