Croatia beat Latvia at the Skonto stadium in Riga on matchday seven of the EURO 2024 qualifiers. Our very own Luka Modrić was in the starting line-up and was taken off in the 86th minute.
Majer opened the scoring for Croatia in the 7th minute after a move involving Modrić. Kramarić added the second and final goal nine minutes later to make it 2-0. The three points lifted Croatia to second place in Group D and left them to fend for themselves in their quest for classification. They host Armenia in Zagreb on Tuesday.
